Life support

Thirty constructed butyl rubber air constructed

sacs are installed in an arterial exhibition space at EdinburghCollege of art. Each sac has a separate

air donor who maintains

its air pressure through blowing into an inflation tube.

Notions of mass collective caring and inter-dependence are explored through the ward imagery. Each donor records the inflations on a quasi medical chart. Intermittent pink and

blue light sources creates

an underlying viscerality.

Commissioned by Edinburgh College of Art Gallery.
